What is an Edcamp?
An Edcamp is an ‘Unconference.”
An ‘unconference’ is an opportunity for professional educators to come together with colleagues and discuss anything that interests you relating to education. There is no schedule, agenda or keynote and no registration fee. An Edcamp is designed, organized and developed by the participants attending that day.
Participants are encouraged to come with an idea for a session to lead or explore for a few hours of learning. Sessions that are proposed on the day of the Edcamp an pertain to anything in education. A session might explore a technology tool, a discussion about best practices or a collaborative presentation with multiple facilitators.
The first session of the day will comprise of all attendees sharing or listening to ideas for proposed sessions to be offered. Then, a schedule is made and the learning can begin!
