A Message from Pam Bernards, Ed.D., Director of Professional Development

Dear Friends in Catholic School Education,

NCEA’s focus is to lead, learn and proclaim by: developing current and future leaders; providing educational resources; strategically expanding professional development opportunities for those committed to the mission of Catholic education; and serving as the national voice for Catholic schools. To that end, it is our privilege to offer a number of valuable learning resources, webinars and the 2017 NCEA New Directions Exceptional Learners Conference (ELC 2017), in service to Catholic school educators who seek to answer the call of meeting the needs of exceptional learners in Catholic schools.

It is our hope that all these will help Catholic educators gain insight into the best practices, latest instructional strategies and evidence-based research for serving students with varied learning needs.

Over the coming months you will find even more engaging content on trending exceptional learner topics that you will not want to miss. Mark your calendar to connect with other Catholic educators and take advantage of this unique and focused professional learning opportunity and be sure to follow the conversation using #CathEdExL.

In the next week, registration will open for ELC 2017 and other outstanding summer professional development opportunities. I hope to see you there!

Sincerely, in Christ,

Pam Bernards, Ed.D.
