Catholic Climate Covenant and Creighton University Partnering to Sponsor a Conference Series

This summer, Catholic Climate Covenant and Creighton University are partnering to sponsor the inaugural gathering of “Laudato Si’ and the U.S. Catholic Church: A Conference Series on Our Common Home.” Catholic Climate Covenant is a national partnership organization, of which the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is a founding member. The event will be held June 27-29 at Creighton University in Omaha, NE and is the first of three biennial conferences to convene, equip and inspire current and potential leaders who can more deeply integrate Laudato Si’ and its climate change teaching into eight ministries or “tracks” of the U.S. Catholic Church: Adult Faith Formation, Advocacy, Creation Care Teams, Energy Management, Higher Education, Liturgy, School Education and Young Adult Ministry. If you would like to attend this groundbreaking event, please complete the application here. The application deadline is April 1.
